This page helps you identify whether a form is required and, where applicable, select the correct form for your proposed cover, distributor release, collaboration, commercial use, or special-permission enquiry.
Submitting a form does not automatically grant permission, confirm metadata, approve a project, create an official collaboration, or give the sender a right to proceed.
Before submitting a form, please review the relevant information below and the current Rights and Usage Policy.
A form is not required for every use connected with The Sanctuary of Fragility.
The following activities may ordinarily proceed without submitting a form, provided that the use remains within the Rights and Usage Policy, applicable law, platform rules, licensing requirements, and third-party rights.
No form is ordinarily required where a track released by The Sanctuary of Fragility is selected and used entirely through an official built-in music, sound, or audio feature provided by a platform.
The use must remain within the platform feature and its applicable limits. This does not permit downloading, extracting, independently re-uploading, editing outside the authorised feature, transferring the audio to another platform, or claiming rights in the audio.
No form is ordinarily required for a brief, incidental, casual, or spontaneous performance, such as singing a short excerpt in a personal post, livestream, reaction, rehearsal, or informal setting.
This exception does not automatically apply to a planned full cover, formally produced release, distributor release, advertisement, sponsored content, substantial adaptation, or another separately regulated use.
No form is ordinarily required for an ordinary live performance of a compliant cover, including a performance at a venue, event, festival, open mic, livestream, rehearsal open to an audience, or similar setting.
The responsible performers, organisers, venues, promoters, broadcasters, and platforms remain responsible for any required licences, royalties, permissions, recordings, broadcasts, and third-party rights.
No form is ordinarily required merely to create, discuss, display, or perform an unofficial fan translation within the limits of the Rights and Usage Policy.
The translation must be clearly presented as unofficial. This does not grant unrestricted permission to reproduce lyrics separately, publish an independent lyric product, use the translation commercially, create merchandise, or claim rights in the original lyrics.
No form is ordinarily required for respectful, non-commercial fan art that complies with the Rights and Usage Policy.
The work must be presented as unofficial fan work and must not be sold, licensed, minted, used as merchandise, used in advertising, or incorporated into a commercial product or service without the required written permission.
A form is not required for a use that applicable law independently permits without authorisation.
The person relying on such a legal right remains responsible for determining whether it applies. The existence of that right does not mean that The Sanctuary of Fragility has reviewed, approved, endorsed, or participated in the use.
The fact that no form is required does not automatically mean that every form of the use is permitted.
A form or separate written permission may become necessary if the purpose, format, platform, distribution method, parties involved, commercial context, or surrounding use changes.
The forms on this page do not provide a process for obtaining an exception to every restriction in the Rights and Usage Policy.
The Sanctuary of Fragility does not offer permission, endorsement, sponsorship, or official collaboration through these forms for uses involving:
𑇐 political or election campaigning;
𑇐 partisan promotion or political fundraising;
𑇐 religious recruitment, conversion, or promotional activity;
𑇐 ideological propaganda;
𑇐 hate, discrimination, dehumanisation, or targeted harassment;
𑇐 threats, intimidation, or incitement;
𑇐 glorification, celebration, or encouragement of violence;
𑇐 violent extremism or terrorism;
𑇐 exploitation of vulnerable people;
𑇐 unlawful activity;
𑇐 fraudulent, deceptive, or impersonating activity;
𑇐 deliberately misleading claims;
𑇐 false claims of approval, endorsement, sponsorship, affiliation, representation, or official collaboration; or
𑇐 another use identified as prohibited or ineligible under the Rights and Usage Policy.
These restrictions cannot be avoided by offering payment, describing the use as charitable or non-commercial, changing the project’s name, submitting a different form, sending the request repeatedly, using only part of the material, or adding a disclaimer after creating a misleading association.
A submission concerning an ineligible or prohibited use may be closed or declined without further review or response.
Where a form allows links or supporting materials, please provide only information that is relevant and reasonably necessary.
Submitted links should ordinarily:
𑇐 open in a standard web browser;
𑇐 be public or configured as view-only;
𑇐 not require sign-in, a password, an access request, or creation of an account;
𑇐 not require installation of software, an application, extension, or plugin;
𑇐 not begin an automatic download;
𑇐 display the destination domain clearly; and
𑇐 remain available for a reasonable period after submission.
The Sanctuary of Fragility is not required to request access, disclose an account identity, download a file, install software, or take additional steps to access restricted material.
Links and supporting materials may be checked through reputable security or URL-inspection services. A link or file may be declined where it appears unsafe, inaccessible, irrelevant, misleading, unlawfully shared, or technically unsuitable for review.
Do not submit:
𑇐 passwords or account credentials;
𑇐 private access keys;
𑇐 financial-account or payment-card information;
𑇐 identification documents;
𑇐 confidential trade secrets;
𑇐 information subject to a confidentiality obligation;
𑇐 material you are not authorised to share;
𑇐 unnecessary sensitive personal information; or
𑇐 personal information about another person without an appropriate basis.
Please retain your own copies. Do not submit the only existing copy of any file or information.
Submitting material does not transfer ownership of that material to The Sanctuary of Fragility and does not automatically create confidentiality, exclusivity, an official collaboration, or an obligation to use, preserve, return, or respond to it.
The Forms, Notifications, and Permission Requests Policy explains:
𑇐 when a form is or is not required;
𑇐 which form applies to a proposed use;
𑇐 how notifications, metadata requests, and permission enquiries are administered;
𑇐 requirements for links and supporting materials;
𑇐 the effect of automated acknowledgements;
𑇐 when the sender must wait for a written response;
𑇐 how incomplete, unsuitable, duplicate, unsafe, or ineligible submissions may be handled; and
𑇐 responsibilities that remain with the sender.
This Policy supplements the Rights and Usage Policy. It does not replace or override it.
Submitting a form does not remove the sender’s responsibility to comply with applicable law, platform terms, distributor requirements, licences, royalties, contracts, service-provider terms, and third-party rights.
If you share your cover publicly on social media or another platform that supports hashtags, you are kindly encouraged to include #SanctuaryOfFragilityCover in your post or description.
This is optional and is intended simply to help The Sanctuary of Fragility discover and follow covers more easily. Using the hashtag does not constitute approval, endorsement, permission, or official affiliation, and The Sanctuary of Fragility cannot guarantee that every tagged cover will be seen or shared.
Please submit only the form that most closely matches the main purpose of your proposed use.
Do not submit all three forms for the same project. Multiple submissions do not increase the likelihood of approval or accelerate review and may delay or complicate the process.
Where a project involves more than one type of use, select the form most closely connected to the project’s main purpose and explain all relevant uses in that submission.
Use this form for an ordinary cover that:
𑇐 is newly performed and newly recorded;
𑇐 does not use original audio or protected project materials controlled by The Sanctuary of Fragility;
𑇐 will not be submitted through a music distributor;
𑇐 is not sponsored, branded, commissioned, promotional, or used in advertising;
𑇐 is not presented as an official collaboration;
𑇐 does not involve a substantial adaptation or another use requiring separate permission; and
𑇐 otherwise complies fully with the Rights and Usage Policy.
This form is a notification, not a request for individual artistic approval.
Where the proposed cover properly falls within the scope of this form and all applicable requirements are satisfied, the sender may ordinarily proceed without waiting for an individual response.
Submitting the form does not mean that The Sanctuary of Fragility has reviewed, approved, endorsed, verified, or accepted responsibility for the cover.

Use this form where a compliant, newly recorded cover master is intended for release through a music distributor or music-distribution service.
This form is used to request written confirmation of the applicable metadata before the release is submitted, finalised, scheduled for delivery, or otherwise delivered through the distributor.
You may prepare an editable private draft within the distributor’s system, but the release must remain fully editable until the applicable metadata has been expressly confirmed in writing.
Metadata confirmation does not:
𑇐 constitute artistic approval;
𑇐 provide every licence or clearance required for release;
𑇐 authorise original audio, artwork, logos, or other protected materials;
𑇐 authorise a substantial adaptation;
𑇐 authorise sponsored, branded, advertising, or other separate commercial uses;
𑇐 approve Content ID or other rights-management activity; or
𑇐 create an official collaboration, sponsorship, endorsement, or association.
The sender must wait for an express written response before submitting or finalising the release through the distributor.

Use this form for a preliminary enquiry concerning matters such as:
𑇐 a proposed official collaboration;
𑇐 a commissioned project;
𑇐 sponsored or branded content;
𑇐 advertising or promotional use;
𑇐 a licensing arrangement;
𑇐 a performance, appearance, interview, or event;
𑇐 a substantial adaptation, translation, remix, sample, medley, mashup, or synchronisation;
𑇐 film, television, theatre, game, podcast, exhibition, or other audiovisual use;
𑇐 organised educational, health, therapeutic, charitable, or institutional use;
𑇐 a preliminary enquiry involving original audio or protected materials; or
𑇐 another use requiring express written permission or a separate agreement.
Submitting this form does not grant permission, a licence, approval, endorsement, exclusivity, or a right to proceed.
It does not create a collaboration, employment relationship, commission, partnership, agency, or other business relationship.
The sender must wait for an express written response and, where applicable, completion of all required terms, licences, permissions, or agreements before beginning, announcing, publishing, promoting, distributing, monetising, or otherwise proceeding with the proposed project.

Submitting a form begins only the administrative process applicable to that form.
An automated acknowledgement, confirmation page, email receipt, copy of submitted responses, delivery notification, or system-generated reference confirms only that the relevant system appears to have received or recorded the submission.
It does not constitute:
𑇐 permission or approval;
𑇐 metadata confirmation;
𑇐 acceptance of a proposal or collaboration;
𑇐 confirmation that the correct form was used;
𑇐 confirmation that the submission is complete or accurate;
𑇐 confirmation that the proposed use is eligible or lawful;
𑇐 a promise to review, negotiate, or respond;
𑇐 a reservation of rights, materials, dates, services, or opportunities; or
𑇐 permission to proceed.
The Sanctuary of Fragility may request clarification, additional information, corrections, a replacement submission, or use of another form.
No response period is guaranteed.
Silence, delay, failure to respond, or an automated acknowledgement does not constitute permission, consent, approval, waiver, metadata confirmation, or a right to proceed.
Personal information submitted through these forms is handled in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
Please submit only information that is relevant and reasonably necessary.
These forms are not intended for direct submission by persons who are minors under the law applicable to them and do not accept personal information directly from minors.
